Polar Bear Plunge & 5K

Celebrate the New Year on January 4th with Blue Hole Regional Park's annual Polar Bear Plunge & 5K! This event brings people together to start the new year off with a splash! The 5K route begins in Blue Hole, winds through downtown Wimberley, and ends with a plunge into the ice-cold waters of Cypress Creek! There is live music, food and drink vendors, games and prizes, a fire at the fire pit, and more!

Registration opens November 1st. Tickets will go fast.
$30 per person - Earlybird (11/1 - 11/15)
$35 per person - Registration
$45 per person - Day of registration
Duration
9:00am: Event Check-In
9:30am: Stretching/Warmup
10:00am: 5K Begins
11:30am: 5K Ends
11:30am: Awards Ceremony
1:00pm: Polar Bear Plunge Ends
Note
Included in registration is admission to participate in the 5K, a special event t-shirt, drink tickets, and a swag bag.
If you are just plunging, you do not need a ticket.
Make sure to bring a change of clothes!
